You will also find links to our Employee Benefits Office and our Deferred Compensation Office.  Our Benefits Office administers employee benefits programs such employee and retiree health and dental plans; Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act (COBRA); Dependent Care Assistance Program; Employee Assistance Program’ Internal Revenue Service Section 125 Cafeteria Plan; Employee Life Insurance; Family Medical Leave Act; Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act; Taxable Equity Financial Responsibility Act; and Administers the County’s Deferred Compensation Program by providing information, education, and service to participating employees, as well as education and information to potential participants.

Our site also has a link to our Risk Management and Loss Control Office.  This office has managed liability/property insurance for the County since 1973.  The mission of the Liability and Property Insurance program is to finance and adjust liability and property losses through insurance, self-insurance, and transfer of risk.  This office also provides the County Safety Office which administers and coordinates the County’s Safety/Accident Prevention and Industrial Hygiene programs.

We have also provided a link to our Workers’ Compensation Program.  You will find program information such as Sacramento County is self-insured for all Workers’ Compensation claims.
